Great Falls Women Give selected the Boys and Girls Club of Cascade County as the recipient of their first quarterly $10,000 grant at their inaugural meeting this May.
The Boys and Girls Club of Cascade County is a youth development organization. They offer a summer and after-school programs to combat rising youth crime, falling graduation rates and the effects of poverty on school-age children. To make themselves as accessible as possible, clubs keep their costs low, offer scholarships and make themselves available in schools, public housing, rural areas and other locations where children might not have other options for after school. This safe, reliable access to structure, mentorship and fun makes a giant impact in the lives of children.
The grant will be used to refurbish their aging education room with new furniture and technology upgrades. More information on the Boys and Girls Club is here: https://bgc-cc.org/
